1861 - are your boatpeople missing?

The River Witham flows through Lincolnshire.

The town of Witham is in Essex.

It has been suggested in another place that the 1861 census (not just Ancestry) has placed the river in Essex.

Sixty Lincolnshire people appear in Essex (Vessels) in RG9/1107.
