1901/1910 census Whelan

Hello.,

Don't know what happened to the last post but I think I pressed the wrong button!

I am looking for my grandfather but don't have too much to go on.

His name was Martin Whelan.  He was born around 1902 in Waterford to Michael Whelan and Johanna nee Power.  He had a brother Edmund but I don't know if he was older or younger.  I know he lived in Kill but don't know if he was born there or moved there later.  He left Ireland sometime before 1930 and moved to Wales.

Any info would be much appreciated.

Wheelie not much help I'm afraid,but youv'e probably caught this going by,there was a Pat Whelan living at No 16 O'Brien Street Waterford,1910/11.They are 'in' with mine,but I have not chased them up.
That address was given me years ago by my old Mum,no trace of the folk's I wanted though !!

Thanks for that info.  I've virtually no info on that side at all so anything is greatly appreciated.  I'll look into this and see what I can find.
