Repatriation to Germany WW2 - Help Please
« on: Sunday 27 September 09 08:49 UTC (UK) »

 Cheesy

I am trying to find out about a German POW who was held in a Camp in Llanwrst, North Wales, during WW2.  All we have is his name, where he came from and details of the farmer he worked for in Wales.  Immediately after the war, he was repatriated, but left behind an illegitimate child whose children are anxious to find their German roots.

Is there a list of POW Camps in Britain perhaps, or details of Germans who were repatriated ?

Any help would be much apprecaited

Thanks

Maybe this link will help you:

If you have his name and where he came from in Germany, you could post it on here and I'm sure someone could point you in the right direction.
