Hi Everyone

I have just made a visit to the BROMYARD & DISTRICT Local History Society. For those with ancestors in this area their archive material is very useful and it covers some other parishes near to Bromyard. The staff are a mine of information and they are very helpful, answering any questions you may have.

I can recommend a visit if you are in the area and also their website will enable you to ask any queries you have too.

Staunton
Can I ask if any of these villages come under BROMYARD & DISTRICT ? and am I right in stating Norton Canon is not.....this comes under Weobley ?........many thanks....allan (Liverpool)( too far to pop to Hereford...came 2 years ago, but far too much research to cover in one weekend....)

You can download the file to your computer.

You can email your queries to them and ask if the places you interested in are covered by them. They have some outside ones I believe. It is a voluntary organisation so we just put money in the pot. Any documents you want copied will cost you about £1 or so.

I will have to make another trip anyway and I live in Norfolk. Good excuse for a holiday as it's a lovely area.
