Looking for info. about the Chadwell family living in Hove/Brighton area. They were building contractors for the most part.  Brothers  were Charles, Herbert, William James etc.  My grandmother was Dorothy Chadwell. She was Herberts' daughter.

According to the 1901 census - Herbert Chadwell was b Buckinghamshire in 1864 so you will find the family on the 1881 census which is free to search yourself at www.familysearch.org
