On 1861 census there's a Godfrey Berry born 1815 in Huddersfield, living in Leeds.

Godfrey Berry 1815 Chemist
Ellen Berry 1818
Ann Berry 1851
Joseph 1856

All above born Hudd's.  Unfortunately no Ellen born circa 1845/6

The same family in 1851 living in Hudd's

Mary 8
Charles W 2
Ann 2 months
James Fox 64 Father?HuhHuhHuhHuh?  (maybe Ellen's father)  He was born Greetland.

A godfrey Berry was married in 3rd qrt, Halifax in 1848 (Greetland is in Halifax)

On the same page is an Ellen Fox,  ref: 22  137

Note .............Mary (1851 census) was born circa 1843, before this marrige.  So was Godfrey married before, or is Mary, Ellen's child before marriage?

Who were the witnesses at Squire and Ellen's wedding?

Thanks for your reply.  I had already tried Henry and even got a certificate but he was definately Harry.  His father gave them simple names, Harry, Joe  and Tom.
