Michigan, USA Marriage?

I thought my relatives got married in UK, but they could have been born in England and raised and married in USA (explaining why I can't find them in England!).  Could someone try to find Thomas (maybe G middle initial) Brookes (born 1824-1829 in England) marrying a Rebecca (also born England 1826-1830).  In 1850 they were in Marshall, married within the year, and in 1860 they were in Jackson, with 2 or their 3 sons.  Desperately trying to find birth details of the two of them to trace further back, and marriage cert might help.

All I could come up with was
Thomas Brookes to Rebeccah Johnson March qtr 1848 Bedminster (Glos) 11 68

The only passenger's I could find from Bristol to New York was Ship Devonia Arrive New York 27th June 1849
List no. 813

Thomas Brooks 23 male
?           Brooks  19 female

So far I haven't been able to find a Thomas and Rebecca Brookes on the 1851 UK census.  Maybe someone else can find them, that would rule them out.

Thanks Su - someone had suggested the Bedminster marriage, but the ages and date weren't quite right (or so I thought), but I'm going to order it if I can exclude any UK 1851 census hits.
Great news on the Devonia from you - but how did you find it - I tried to search and found nothing - even putting in your dates and ship name - ancestry.co.uk came up with S??? Brooks (23male) and Ce Brooks (19 female) - but it didn't come up with the actual list for me to check the writing.  Which site did you use to find it?

Just found it! - T (or J) Brooks and the line underneath seems to have a capital C with a superscript 'a' or 'o'.  Could maybe be a c/o 'care of' type of thing.  There are quite a few similar on other peoples lines.  They didn't take alot of care on that ship!  Thanks for finding this and drawing it to my attention.  I'll order the marriage cert and see if the ages tie in.  It doesn't quite tie with US and Canadian census info for them - but they could have lied for variety of reasons, or just people not taking care working out ages from dates of birth etc.

Apologies Ali, I wrote Thomas Brooks instead of T(or J) for the passenger list, had Thomas on the brain  Cheesy
It's the only young couple I could find.
I wouldn't go off ages too much, they differ greatly sometimes.
