1881 and 1891 Moses Morgan
« on: Monday 28 September 09 17:29 UTC (UK) »

I can’t find Moses Morgan/Morgans, born in 1845 in Caron, Cardiganshire in the 1881 census.  Could anyone help?

He, and his young family, are also hiding in the 1891 census.  By this time Moses should have with him his wife and two children -
Anne, b. 1852, Llangeitho, Cards,
William, b. 1887, Tregaron, Cards,
Rachel, b. 1889, Tregaron, Cards.

I have all the other censuses and it would be nice to fill the gap.  Thanks.

Is he the one on the 1881 census shown as b 1850 Tregaron - mother Jane

I think I have found wife Ann and the children in 1891 but the entry is the first on page 1 so you can't flip back to the previous page to see if Moses is the last entry

Aberdwr Croes and Berwyn Cardiganshire

All b Tregaron except Ann

Anne Morgan 38 wife b Langeitho
William 4
Rachel 2
Thomas under 1 month
Martha 40 sister in law

Thanks for looking.  I was looking at this one but I have another possible entry for Jane and I've been trying to decide whether this might be them.  I think it probably is because Moses doesn't seem to appear anywhere else.

It always helps to have another eye on the problem.

Bless you!  This is them.  Even with this detail, I still can't get the family to come up on an Ancestry search.  This is sooo frustrating.

I can't see how to get to it by putting in the piece and folio information.

Many, many thanks!
