Marriage of Alexander Barron to Annie Moore

Help is needed please I am having trouble locating the marriage of the two above my great great grandparents, Annie is from Wicklow in Ireland.  Their first child Sophia is born in 1879 I have searched and searched to no avail?

Where was Sophia born as there is no Scottish 1881/1891/1901 entry for that name

The only Ann Barron b Ireland married to an Alexander was living in Aberdeen - not Lanarkshire.  They had a son James aged 2 who was b Glasgow

Alexander Barron 38 b Elgin Morayshire  Railway Engine Driver
Ann   27 b Ireland
James 2 b Glasgow

The marriage took place in Ireland not Scotland:

Alexander BARRON 1874 Dublin South registration district volume 7 page 605
Anne MOORE same details

No wonder I couldn't find her in Scotland - she was b Middlesex!

As he was a soldier - they could have married in Ireland

Thank you Aghadowey I will most certainly apply for the marriage certificate (I did look using your link under Ireland but my research skills clearly need honing)
Also thanks Carole - yes Sophia born in Middlesex and Alexander was a musician he played bagpipes
