Only SPATCHETT baptism on the BVRI. No SPATCHETT marriages.

Baptised - 15th September, 1835, Samuel son of Samuel & Ann SPATCHETT

There does not seem to be any SPATCHETTs listed on any of the Herts Indexes online at HALS.

Hi,
I searched the Baldock Parish Records for baptisms 1830-1850 and marriages 1825-1837 but came up with the same answer as that given by Rick.  All I can add is that Samuel was a gardener and resided in the High Street, Baldock.

Thanks for your help so far, folks- every bit of info helps.
Could I just ask if the actual parish records for Baldock or fiche copies of them are available for viewing anywhere?

The original Baldock Parish Registers from 1558 to 1960 have been deposited at the Hertfordshire Record Office.  The entries up to circa 1900 have been filmed and are available for viewing at Hertford (HALS).    A copy of the filmed edition is available for viewing at Baldock Library.

Just to add to Peter's post.  HALS does not sell its holdings on microfiche, only microfilm.  Consequently very few folk own them as film viewers are considerably larger than fiche viewers.

The Baldock parish record films are also available to order and view at any LDS Family History Centre worldwide.

Some of Baldock records have also  been transribed on to the BVRI but I have given all SPATCHETT/Variants from this.
