There seems to be a Minnie Daymude, daughter of John F. & Mary, in Crocker Township, Polk Co., Iowa (not Ohio) in the 1900 Census. You can see it here: http://labs.familysearch.org/ John F. appears to be in Jackson, Illinois in the 1880 Census.
There are some people with the surname Daymud/Daymude buried here: http://iowawpagraves.org/

According to the 1925 Iowa census: Minnie Donaghy, born c1889 in Iowa, was married to Charles Donaghy. Minnie's father was John F Daymude; he was born c1863 in Illinois. Minnie's mother was Mary Zimmerman; she was born c1866 in Germany.
Minnie and Charles were living in Ankeny, Polk County (Iowa).
I believe Minnie and Charles were married in Iowa. They had children: Leroy?, age 19, Mabel, age 17 and Georgia, age 13.
Information about Charles: born in Ireland, c1882. Father: Henry Donaghy, born Ireland. Mother: Margaret A? Cowan?, born Ireland; age at last birthday 77. Married in Ireland.

There is a picture of John & Mary's gravestone here: http://iowagravestones.org/gs_view.php?id=397123
I found a death notice for George W. Daymude, son of Mr. & Mrs. John Daymude, from the Des Moines Capitol newspaper from 9 Oct. 1909. It says he died in the family residence in Ankeny yesterday after a long continued illness from quinsy (? - that word was hard to read). The internment was at Union cemetery.

I found an obituary in the Des Moines, Iowa Register for a Charles C. Donaghy, age 87, who died in Sept. 1969. He was born in Ireland, his wife was Minnie, and he had a daughter named Mable, among other children. It has a slight fuzzy picture of him. If you want me to e-mail it to you, send me your e-mail address in a private message.
I also found an article from the Mason City Globe-Gazette from 1956 about a Donaghy family reunion, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Donaghy were the longest married couple.
I also found an article in the Mason City Globe-Gazette from 1929 that lists Mabel Donaghy of Ankeny having a marriage license issued to her. She married a man named Sesker, and she appears to be on the Social Security Death Index with a birth date of 21 Dec. 1907 and a death date of 14 Sep. 1994.

On the 1925 Census, Mabel Donaghy is listed as single.
On the 1915 Iowa state census, there is a Mabel L. Donaghy, age 7, living in Ankenny. She was born Iowa, her father was born Ireland, and her mother was born Iowa.
In the 1930 Census, Mabel L. Sesker and her husband were living in Ankenny. They were both age 21, and their age at 1st marriage was 21.
Maybe we need to start with what you know - do you have parents' names for your Mabel and where was the information from?

Aside from these people being Polk County, Iowa, not Ohio and the difference in Mabel's birth date, the above really seems to match. Donaghy and Daymude are unusual enough surnames in the US that I'd be surprised if it was just coincidence.
Was the information you have from someone else or from a vital record? Any chance someone who was looking for Mabel Donaghy just tried to shoe horn the names of the parents into their family tree?
