Hi,

Looking for  PO  Ernie? Constable RCN. Windsor Ontario bn.1921? brother Harold Lancaster Sqd. 153 dcd. abt 1995.

Both were serving in UK 1945 and both visited their uncle Charlie Constable, Laindon, Essex.

Any information of any surviving family inthe area.

John you already have an old request on rootscchat...Nothing has changed except for the Constable who was in Windsor is no longer listed...did you write to them? Did you write to the other sources given you back then?

Thanks for the reply  and my latter years I was hoping that I would be able to passed on further info that  I had received from information Canadian Museum re.  Harold  Constable and provided WW2 information which very rewarding ie. that his aircraft 153 Sqdrn. was shot down over Holland had returnedt to Winnipeg Ontario and later passed on.

 Cheesy  Of course we understand you want to find a cousin..But it is harder to track people within the 20th century... & that we are here as a genealogy site. But since you have some genealogy to share, I'll give it another go.

Winnipeg is in Manitoba, John, and Windsor is in Ontario....the adjoining Province to the East...
I live in Winnipeg...but I don't think that you are looking here as your queries online say he died in Windsor...?

Some of the other postings say Harold, their father, came to Windsor Ontario after ww1...so to have written the Windsor Public Library as suggested, might have found you some info on which there were offers to follow up in Ontario...
