Steel or Steele from the isle of Islay

Would anyone have some information, or being doing research on the surname Steel, or maybe even Stell, they emigrated to South Australia in 1849. I am hoping to locate some genealogy in Argyll. I am led to believe that they came from Port Ellen, Isle of Islay.
Any information would be appreciated.
