Birth records 1841 - Dundalk

Hello all,

     I am trying to trace a 1841 (approx  year) birth for Andrew O'Hare in Dundalk, in the hope that it may reveal the mother and fathers name.

     does anyone have access to any records or could point me in the right direction.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know if it is any help but ... there are often several spellings for the "anglisized" name we are researcing eg Kerr is also known as : Ayre, Evers, Hare, Hever, McGirr, Orr, Ivor, Ycord etc.

It may be worth while finding out what other varaiations there are of the name in question

An additional note - I am also looking for a person by the name of Blair Augustus Kerr of Dundalk, Ireland, without success I might add.

There seems to be a scarcity of traceable mterial in Dundalk.

I will bear your suggestions in mind.  It may be that I will not be able to get any further with this line of enquiry.
