I am trying to trace my grandmothers family, her name was Margaret Napier Anderson b1911 carnoustie, her mothers name was Isabella Anderson and the fathers first name is unknown but surname was Napier where my grandmothers middle name came from. They all lived in Kinloch St in Carnoustie where Mr Napier had a shop with his two sisters.
My grandmother was born out of wedlock and the father was shipped off to Canada in disgrace, a little while later Isabella followed. He came back and died in Carnoustie around the 50 or 60's she stayed in Canada writing to my grandmother at least once. They have all passed now and I have had no luck in finding any leads.
Does anyone have any ideas?
