I've got to 1550 with my fathers line ... only 4,398,500 years to go ! At about 3.5 generations per year, thats only 15,394,750 more BMD's to locate !

I wish I had one
To go back to 1550 you obviously haven't got any in Ireland in that line. In my Cumberland line I have managed to get back to c1610, but they all lived in a small hamlet and inter-married. My Irish line only goes back to 1854-56 as the Rooney surname is like looking for a needle in a haystack due to me not knowing the county they originated from.
