Barnabus Martin, b. 1758, Woolwich

Barnabus Martin, b. abt 1758, St. Mary's Woolwich.

There's some submitted records in the IGI about Barnabus.  I have some CD's with the records of St Mary Magdelaine, Woolwich, and I can find no reference to Barnabus in there.  Have I got the right St Marys ?

I know that submitted records can be innacurate - I just want to know if I have the right church really.

There was only the one church for Woolwich at that date http://www.nwkfhs.org.uk/wool_plc.htm

Perhaps the submitted entries are vague guesses if a later generation appeared there Undecided

the 1780 barnabus martin looks like a guess to me too.

Only reasonable certainty would be the 1805 chap.

Thanks both  Smiley   I'd suspected as much.  I've emailed one of the people who has Barnabus on his Ancestry tree, but I'm still waiting on a reply.
