Looking for
Mary Ann Walmsley b. 1853 Manchester
Robert Walmsley brother b. 1855 Manchester
In 1861 census they were living with their mother Mary & stepfather James Wilkindon,
but not with them on the 1871 census. Where are they ?

Looks like Robert Walmsley could have been on the 1871 with the name of Robert Wilkinson with James Wilkinson (stepfather)& mother Mary

Would be grateful for the info on Mary A Wilkinson 1853, 1871 census
Just found a marriage which ties in
1878 Thomas Williams & Mary Ann Walmsley/Wilkinson looks like Mary also took her stepfather's name of Wilkinson

There is the one you found, plus this one still living with her father but now living in Hulme

Thank you for your help, Looks like the Mary A Wilkinson lodger cotton weaver
Found Mary A Williams on the 1881 census again living with James Wilkinson, & Mary
no husband with her, her occupation is Cotton Weaver. Living 62, Naylor Street.
