1891-1901 census look up request Ross family

I wonder if someone would be kind enough to try & find John Ross in the 1891 & or 1901 censuses
In the 1881 census John was living with his mother in Skelmersdale:
John ROSS Head U Male 38 Scotland Farmer Of 245 Acres Employing 5 Laborers & Two Women   
Anne ROSS Mother W Female 69 Scotland            
Dwelling:Skeldale Hall FarmCensus Place:Skelmersdale, Lancashire, England
Family HistoryLibrary Film1341899 Public Records Office Ref RG1
John had been born in McDuff in Banff on 6 Dec 1842 & his mother was born Ann Thomson abt 1810 in Old Meldrum, Aberdeenshire.
I'd be interested to know if he ever married & had children & when his mother died so I thought the censuses would be a good starting point to narrow down my search.

** I think she is the Amy Christian Ross registered 1889 in Ormskirk.

Hi,

His daughters Leonora M Ross aged 13 and Ethel Ross aged 15 born England  would appear to be on the Scottish census at 5 & 6 Prince Albert Ler Victoria Road, Helensburgh, Dumbartonshire as Scholars in 1901.

Ooops, I forgot to mention that it looks likely that his mother died aged 86 in 1893 registered in the subdistrict of Lathom (Ormskirk).  They certainly liked to age a bit once they got older! Roll Eyes  the sub district of Lathom was where his childrens births were registered too - see www.lancashirebmd.org.uk  The actual registration district is Ormskirk, but Lancashirebmd breaks it down to sub districts which is helpful.

I had looked on Free BMDs & not found the mother - so this is wonderful.
Were the girls at a boarding school in Dumbartonshire?
This is great.
I found a photo of Skelsdale Hall on the Skelmersdale Heritage Society web site.
I think I might have found his death I think he might have retired away from Skelmersdale.

Hard to tell as there are no images just a transcription.  There are 6 girls all classed as scholars.    A Gavina b Gebson listed as Badrding  Shocked House Keeper, and there was a  Sick Nurse, Cook and a Domestic.
