In the 1851 census for St Pancras, Middlesex, William Weston's place of birth is recorded as Barnet (or possibly Burnet) Southampton (HO107/1498/205/67).

I can't find this place within Southampton or elsewhere in Hampshire on any modern map.  Please can Rootschatters with Hampshire expertise suggest where I might find it?  I can't find William in any later census - I guess he died - but a couple of his children are found with Southampton as their birthplace, so it looks like the Southampton part of William's 1851 entry is correct and he wasn't born in Barnet Hertfordshire.

Thanks for any help.
