I am interested in any information on my grand-parents.My grand-fathers name was Patrick Clark and he was from Kingscourt,Cavan. My grand-mothers name was Annie King and she was from Ballyjamesduff,Cavan. My great-grandfathers name was also Patrick Clarke and he was married to Catherine Reilly.
I believe my grand-father had brothers named James,Charles,Peter and Andrew and twin sisters named Mary and Bridget. If anyone has any additional information about this family I would appreciate hearing from you.I am trying to do a family history for my children and grandchildren.

Hello Intervale,
Unless you have been getting PMs and emails you appear to have made very little progress in the search for your ancestors. A reply to my message dated 29th of April 2005 would be of great assistance to our team here. Then we might be in a much better position to help you.
Chris.

This site may be of assistance to you . It shows selected marriages between 1838 - 54 in Kingscourt Co. Cavan and includes both surnames Clark and Clarke. The name Patrick Clarke is mentioned several times. www.rootsweb.com/~irlcav/kingsco.htm
Best Wishes, Christopher

My father tells me that a Judith (Julia) Clarke was married to my Great Grandfather, John Lambe in Shercock, Cavan but I have no marriage dates. They had a child, Joseph Lambe b. 23 April 1909.
Best wishes, Terentio

Hiya intervale98,
Were the Clarke family members of the Catholic, the Established (Anglican) or the Presbyterian faith? Did your grandfather (born 1879) have any siblings?

I am looking for any information on the Clarke family from county Cavan. I know my Grand-Parents were Patrick Clark and Anne King. He was from Kingscourt and she was from Ballyjamesduff. From what info I can find I think my Great Grandfather was Patrick Clarke and I think my Great-Grandmother was Anne Gologly. If anyone has any other information I would appreciate it.
