Am looking at the Rafter family alive or dead in County Laois does anyone have any information on my grandfather Roderick Rafter and grandmother Helena Brennan (who hailed from Spanish Point) we are trying to plot family tree before them any clues how to do this? Smiley

Irish marriage certificates list fathers' names and occupations and birth certificates should list both parents. We aren't allowed to post detail of living people on Rootschat and you haven't mentioned dates so it's hard to make suggestions but 1911 census is online as is index to civil registration (up until 1958).
