Names of Norham Families

My husband has numerous surnames from the Norham/Ladykirk area and while researching I have found a lot of marriages between the same families from about 1730 - 1850 . Is there any way of researching these names from Parish records?

Hello again brushbroomstick, Here are the names you seek on my direct line: Isabel Archbold/Archibald b 1730 Tweedmouth and died 1788 also in Tweedmouth; she married William Paxton in 1756 - William was also from Tweedmouth.  Isabel's Father was Robert Archbold/Archibald who married Elizabeth Selby in 1715. The Paxton family actually lived in the Longridge area and operated an inn at Velvet Hall. Their children were baptized in Norham and there was a connection with Ladykirk and Duns through the King family..  I have additional information on the descent as well as some information on collateral lines.  Pat

I have just published a web site with as many Paxton marriages and births I could find over the years I have been searching for my Paxtons.  On the site are several Denhams/Denholms...both on the birth pages and the marriage page
