Hi I am looking for a Mary McAuley born approx 1859 at Ballymena. Father William McAuley Mother Mary Moore. Mary McAuley married Charles Anderson in Brisbane,  Australia 1881. I can't find how she got to Australia. I've looked on convicts that came in to no avail. Don't know anything about the family. Can someone help PLEASE  Grin

              Sorry, I can't help with Mary Moore as she was probably born before 1864 when civil birth records began. However I found a marriage of William McAuley to Mary Moore on 8 Nov 1861 in Fisherwick Presbyterian Church, Shankill, Belfast.

williams father was david & marys father was william.

I would like to know how Mary McAuley got to come to Oz. If she was a free settler with her family or a convict?
