Haughton is in Lancashire.  (In Ashton under Lyne reg district.)

Are you certain that it's "your" Jane Wright who married Richard Taylor?  I can't see any likely couple on census, and Lancashire BMD http://www.lancashirebmd.org.uk has a death record in Ashton district in 1860 for a Jane Wright aged 28 which would match quite well with the Jane who is aged 18 on the 1851 census.
