Gunn family

We are looking for information on the family of Alexander Gunn who was born in Caithness Scotland in 1805/6. He was a fisherman/boat builder; married to Christina in Thurso in 1842.

One son, William, moved to Wales around 1875.

Any information would be appreciated

igi has alexander gunn married christina mckay on 8/3/1842 thurso

on 1851 census: alexander gunn 46, christina gunn 36, jane 8, william 6, margaret 4, janet 2, john 1 and james 3months at achviole, latheron

on 1871 census: alexander gunn 66, christina gunn 55, margaret 25, james 19, elizabeth 17, euphemia s 5

1891 census: alexander gunn 87, christina 78, jane 46, margaret polson 42, george polson 13, alexander polson 10,william polson 8, mary polson 6, euphemia rosie 24, alexander rosie 3 and john rosie 1 at balachnuk, estate dunbeath

looks like margaret married a polson and euphemia married a rosie. no sign of their husbands on the census though
