BC obituary look up request

have found death of Wilfred george  THOMPSON died 24/3/1946.  he died in West Vancouver aged 56. 
there was an article in the paper at his death. " a leading vancouver citizan has died"
Can anyone look up the obituary for me.

Also his mother  Emmaline hannah THOMPSON died 22/11/1963 aged 80 in Vancouver.

I need to know  What Wilfreds wife was called  ( we think it was Miriam)and if they had any children

we plan to go to vancouver next year and id love to make contact with living relatives

looking fro John and elizabeth REAY. 1796C  Elizabeth from Whitby. (? john died in durham area)
Eldest child Edward baptised in Upleatham yorkshire.
aslo for Elizabeth Huh remarried between 1841 and 1851 to mr Murrey.  she moved from Durham area to Hartlepool

This link will allow you to search BC records for what is publically available.  As you can see the privacy laws of Canada restrict much information.  Hopefully someone can find the obituary for you and you can glean some information from that.

I can look up the obituary for you but I might need a few days, been away on vacation for a few weeks and have yet to readjust to real life.....

Do you already have the death registrations or do you need those as well as the obituary?

I could not find the article you mentioned but I did find his obituary in the Vancouver Sun on 25 Nov 1946.  It listed three surviving children and a sister - I'll PM the names in case any are still alive.

I checked Wilfred's death reg and his wife's name was Daisy Maude Duke.  They married in Vancouver on 24 February 1915.  Daisy died in North Vancouver in 1965.  Let me know if you need any more info from Wilfred's death registration.

His mother Emmaline died at Mt St Joseph's Hospital in Vancouver of Coronary Thrombosis.  Her usual address was 2247 Graveley Street, Vancouver.  She lived in the city 48yrs, the municipality 48yrs and Canada 53yrs before her death.  She was born in England on 7 May 1882, parents not known.  Her husband's name was John George Thompson.  She was buried at Mountain View Cemetery.  The informant was her son in law (will PM name).
