any information please on the Barker family of Attleborough/Besthorpe. The earliest I have got is James Barker, born in 1845 , I have no idea of any siblings or who his parents were. Many thanks

I have ancestors of Barker family at Attleborough, very hard to track complety as there was so many of them. I have a Martha Barker who married a John Wright in 1830, have details of ancestors of Martha but as yet to enter in my tree....
Could this be James bn 1845 parents. James BARKER Married Sarah BARNARD 31st July 1831 in Wymondham...

If you are confident with the 1845 birth date, check out freereg.org, loads more info including
Attleborough St Mary's born 17 May 1845 bap 15 Jun 1845, James, son of James Barker and Sarah Barnard, abode Attleburgh, father's occupation labourer.
Siblings include William, Ann, Thomas , Henry, Walter, Jacob, Alfred. James & Sarah's marriage in Wymondham is also there in 1831.
