Location help needed please ? Mymwood, Hatfield

I have received a Death Certificate today giving place of death as
'The Lodge'  Mymwood Hatfield in 1950.     
I have Googled this address and just get referred to Mymwood House Care Home,  so I am wondering whether SKS who is familiar with this area would know if The Lodge is now Mymwood House and, if it was a Nursing Home back then ?

Mymwood Lodge was located on Shepherds Way at the drive entrance to Mymwood House which was last used as a Care Home for the Elderly  but is now vacant.  The Lodge is being redeveloped and renamed Hawksmere House.    Shepherds Way is the B157 off the A1000 between Potters Bar and Hatfield and the Lodge is on the left some 400 yards from the A1000. OS Grid reference 264038.
