Hi i'm trying to do my dads family tree ready for his 70th birthday he thought all his family came from salford but on checking and researching ive found his grandfather john bradley living in great marlow i,m not sure if he was born here but his year of birth was 1870 charles josiah was also born in great marlow in 1898 on charles josiahs birth certificate john bradley was listed as a publican i also wondered if anyone had a trade directory which could give some clues as to which pub this was
any help would be much appreciated

Can't help at the moment with the trade directory but can say that - according to the 1901 census when he and his family are living in Salford - John BRADLEY was born in Shropshire.  His wife, Kate, was born in Tilehurst, Berkshire (A******y gives this as Silehurst).  I believe their marriage must have been in Dec Qtr 1897, Bradfield Registration District, Volume 2c Page 763 - John BRADLEY and Kate HUNT.
