Aye mair questions than answers in a world where the past was a different place - that cannae be revisited! Family surnames being researched ... Crawford, Neilson, Lindsay, Reekie, Davidson Drummond, Pearson, Laing ... will do for starters but there's a whole lot more! Census information Crown Copyright, from www.nationalarchives.gov.uk

Hi CF
The marriage shows on IGI as actual extract:
ELIZABETH ANNE MACKENZIE and ALEXANDER RUSSELL DUGUID Marriage: 01 FEB 1831 Kirkwall And St. Ola, Orkney
Their children show on IGI for births/ christenings. Looks fairly complete. First birth in 1832, last birth in 1845 so Elizabeth's death from 1845-51.

This looks like Elizabeth Ann's origins www.fullbooks.com/History-Of-The-Mackenzies9.html
VII. CAPTAIN THOMAS MACKENZIE, of the H.E.I.C.S., who married Elizabeth Ayton, London, with issue -
1. Thomas, his heir and successor.
2. Elizabeth Anne, who married, in 1831, Alexander Russell Duguid, M.D., son of the Rev. John Duguid, minister of Evie, Orkney, with issue........

With Ev confirming Elizabeth Ann's birth place as England from the 1841 census, and the background piece above, I wonder if this could be Elizabeth Ann's christening together with older brother Thomas, from IGI:
1. THOMAS MACKENZIE Christening: 08 AUG 1810 Saint Matthew, Bethnal Green, London 2. ELIZABETH ANN MACKENZIE Christening: 08 AUG 1810 Saint Matthew, Bethnal Green, London
