Can anybody help with this Lady pretty please
« on: Monday 12 October 09 11:45 UTC (UK) »

Really would appreciate any thoughts on this
Have a lady Mary Leonard marries in Lambeth in 1839 to a George William Knight a Currier
says full age her father is Daniel Leonard a Porter
Have found a death for a Daniel Leonard in 1840 St Martins in the Fields and his burial which says age 64 which I am going to send for
Can only find her in 1851 with her Husband and children
she is 33 born St Martins Middlesex
he 35 born Bermondsey
Children all born in Bermondsey
George 1840
Frances 1842
Frederick 1844
Emily 1846
William1849
HO107 1562 433 6
cannot find them anywhere after this which is odd
think I have found their deaths hers in 1875 in St Olaves his in Hampshire in Surrey 1855 although not confirmed yet.
I and my contact can find nothing about Mary or her Father either
more children baptised still in Bermondsey
John 1852
Charles 1853
Mary 1859

It's not plain Mary in 1859 though is it?
She's a second name, a day of the year, which is going to govern her age relative to census and an address.
All those could be used in a search, Help us to help you!

Do you not have any of the children on censuses after 1851?

This would appear to be George O, + wife Margaret, in 1881 - RG11/1902 Folio 87 Page 5 (He's easy to find in 1891 and 1901 too, do you need transcriptions?)

It's Charles Own Knight and his wife Margaret at RG11/1902, Folio 87, Page 5.

Marriage: Charles Owen Knight & Margaret Falconer - 4a 958 Mutford Mar 1877.
