I managed to find online, some photos of Nether Fordun Farm.

I noticed an interesting fact, Andrew Louden was born at Lochee Farm, but his mum was living at Nether Fordun at the time! thought that was strange and wondered if it could indicate the unmentioned father on Andrew's Birth entry. Could his family have lived at Lochee??? I know it might be a long shot  Undecided

She could have been working there at the time but it would be interesting to see who was living there in 1881 and 1891.

Was Andrew a Louden/McAlly name at all?  If not, that could be some kind of indication.

Have you thought of checking for a will for the lady?

I did also find out that David Louden died between 1891 and 1901, he was on the census as living at Muirton Cottage in 1891, and in 1901 His wife Janet and Christine and Andrew are still living there.

will have a look at SP to see if I can find an entry.

Payday next week have to waite till then before i can get SP credits lol
