Hi,
Wonder if someone could please help me in regard to my Grandmother, she was b. 1876 Bodicote, and was in service by the age of 13 years.
Trying to find the property she was working at in 1891 census please.  It could have been
Atterbury, not sure.

Does the 1891 census show her as being around 15 years of age, and her full name as Elizabeth Mary Timms (or Timbs), any other variation of spelling

census shows....Elizabeth timms age 14  domestic servant b broadwell.glouc.

head of household is a Caroline Serjeant,,living with her son,daughter and grandson.

Thanks for that Gorton,

I don't think it is our Elizabeth Timms, as she was born Bodicote, Oxfordshire.   Age about right though.

Unless the census has been transcribed incorrectly.
