Proffitt Family -Need help please

 Hi, I am trying to do some research into the Proffitt family in New Zealand and beyond, something of interest in my Proffitt family is the repitition of the name John Deakin Proffitt as far as I am aware this practce has been going on in the family since about 1772 , this is what i have so far

Hi Alex

Myself and several others have done extensive research on the PAWSON tree.  I have some PROFFITT/PAWSON information i can pass on if you message me with your proper email address so i can send.

Marjorie Beryl FARROW, dau of Jane and Joseph is my second cousin 3 x removed.  Her Grandfather William PAWSON was the brother of my g g g grandmother Sarah PAWSON.   The PAWSON family arrived in NZ onboard the Coromandel in 1840.
