Birth lookup Jacob RUSSART Parramatta.

Hi
I am trying to find the birth of Jacob Russart B:c1836 at Parramatta, on his marriage certificate it states he was born in Parramatta and his father was Charles Russart. I am trying to find out his mothers name and where his father came from, any help would be much apprecitated.

Hi,

in the NSW online indexes the only Jacob with a father named Charles born 1830-1840 was a JacobA Wilson mother was Lydia

other Jacob in 1836 surname was Emanuel parents Samuel and Diana.

Sorry seems no Russarts and variations in the birth index at up to 1908

Note that the Russart marriage was entered into the index in 2006 but for the marriage year of 1863. Also note Jacob and his wife are the only death by that name in the index 1912 & 1925 resectively. Jacob's parents given as Jacob  &

so probably a son but no birth to be found in NSW, Victoria, Tasmania.

I did find a large family of ROHR children born to Jacob and Margareth Kraus who married in Mudgee in 1861. But again no Rohr's before 1860 i the birth index. Son Jacop born 1862.

Only 3 names for Russart I could find.

Hi Joanna,

There is a lovely article in The Aldine History of NSW

It mentions He grew up in the vicinity of Parramatta and was employed in his early life carrying his Majesty's mail from Parramatta to Orange for Messrs Crane and Roberts and Messrs Cobb and Co. Resided Penrith, Hartley, Bathurst and Orange.

1866 Landlord of Blue Mountains Hotel - Lawson
later Landlord at Blackman's Gap till the he railway opened to Bowenfells -  took up his residence at Bathurst for a few months.

1870 moved to Blayney where he became landlord of the Royal Hotel which was the second establishment in the town. He is now Propietor

When Blayney became a municipality he was elected as one of the first Aldermen, and held the position since.
Has been elected Mayor twice band currently holds the position.

He takes a part in all local matters, energetic in trying to develop the mineral resources in the district, having been interested in mining since his removals and journeying about the colony.

I note it does not state he was born in Parramatta - only that he grew up in the vicinity.  Undecided

RUSSERTT Rupert George Karl arrived in Sydney as assisted immigrants on the 4 April 1849 aboard the BEAULAH.
He was aged 35 - an Vinedresser.
He could read and write
State of probable Health, Strength and probable usefulness - good
Conduct - Good

also

RUSSERTT Margarita
She was aged 41 - a House Servant
She could read and write
State of probable Health, Strength and probable usefulness - good
Conduct - Good

RUSSERTT Jacob
He was aged 14
He could read and write
State of probable Health, Strength and probable usefulness - good
Conduct - Good

a second pages lists them as
