Stephen Hospital Dufftown
« on: Tuesday 13 October 09 14:20 UTC (UK) »

I have in my family tree collection of photographs an image of Stephen Hospital in Dufftown. The image was taken during World War l and it depicts a group of eight soldiers dressed in hospital blues and two nurses. One of the soldiers in the image was my grandfather John Peacock who was serving with the Northumberland Fusiliers.
Am I correct to assume that Stephen Hospital was used to rehabilitate WWl soldiers who had minor wounds and/or who had been gassed?
I have attached a copy of the image of Stephen Hospital.
