Hi folks

Trying to find out on behalf of a pal about the above lady who turns out to be his real granny ( the granny he knew turns out to have adopted his mum) Margaret Flynn was, according to his mums birth certificate, at Engine Street, Gorebridge in 1929 and he was wondering if there was anything further he can find out about her. One clue he has was from an old member of his family who says Margaret may have been a twin.
Any help appreciated
