Having finally got hold of the 1841 census for Wigtown in Scotland, and discovered my ancestor Barnard or Bernard Kiltie and under where born, Ireland, this had me searching again.  then discovered John Kiltie born April 2nd 1867 Crookstown Tyrone, Father: Bernard Kiltie. Matilda Kiltie ms Moran.  Please is there anyone who can help me to find anyway forward in finding the rest of my family, yet another Scot who is so glad to have found her Irish roots.

Hi,
   Found your John in the district of Cookstown. Cannot be of direct help but as this is an unusual name to me I also found a Kiltie family who were listed in the 1841 census in the townland of Killucan, Kildress Parish, district of Cookstown

Felix, head of house, Mary wife, Frances 12, Mick 10, Patt 9, John 8, Mary 3, James ?, Edward 18 mths, Patrick 1 Mth.
