Mabel Ellen Voss was born June Qtr 1899 in Stafford. Parents were Arthur and Gertrude.
Mabel is my grandmothers cousin and was witness to her wedding.
I have been unable to find any more details on Mabel like - marriage, children or death.
Did she stay in Stafford?
Any help would be great.

Chelmsford is in Essex - other side of the country. She's a good fit for your Mabel, but only the cert will tell you. A death cert from 1993 should show her maiden name (assuming that the person informing the registrar knew what it was).
Have you checked FreeBMD for any Kemp children with mother's maiden name Voss?

No have not checked any children at the moment. I would think this is her, the only Mabel Voss in Stafford at that time, she was still single in 1919, at the time of my grandmothers wedding, so you could say she was a late bloomer.
