Hi there

this is a long shot but were are trying to trace a catherine bannon who was born on 16th October
1873 in scotland. We think she has emigrated to america between 1891-1901

Hi,
I've not searched extensively, but found the following:

Catherine Bannon, age 20 (so born ~1875) arriving New York on board "Lucania" on 2 Nov 1895.  Ship departed from Liverpool. She was born Scotland, intended Destination was New York for a protracted stay. Occupation: Servant.

Possibility anyway, if nought else.

thanks for that information we will check this out. We have found her parents name if that would help with our search

Father Francis Bannon and the Mothers name was Ellen nee Connolly
