Can anyone help?
My ancestor William Mugridge was born in Castle Hedingham abt 1771. After checking the baptism records for the church there I found a William, also two brothers, John and Thomas but their surname read as 'MUCKERIDGE'. Do you think this could be the William I am looking for?
On the IGI I found what possibly could be their parents James MUGRIDGE m Martha Boorman, married 17 JUN 1764 Hawkhurst, Kent.
Are MUCKERIDGE and MUGRIDGE one and the same?
