Census information Crown Copyright, from www.nationalarchives.gov.uk

Hi, Bessie Mead BALL is my Great Aunty.
She was born Apr-May-Jun 1894 in Basford, Nottinghamshire.
Married Leslie Wilton ANDREW (a NZ WW1 soldier) in the Oct-Nov-Dec 1918 in the same area.
I would like to know who her parents and siblings (if any) were, and when Bessie and Leslie came to NZ (between marriage date and 1920)
I believe she was a nurse in WW1. Any suggestions on where I can verify that info?
Thanks,
Regards Gail

Hi Gail,
Are you certain Bessie mead Ball was born in Basford?
Basford - as well as being a town in its own right is a registration district which covers a very large area - part of the area is in Nottinghamshire, part is in Derbyshire.
This seems the strongest possiblity for bessie
