Pre 1837 marriages do not give either parents names, only bride and grooms , status, whether of the parish and witnesses.
Have you searched the IGI

Hi Judith,
I couldent seem to find this couple in 1851 on Ancestry exactly what search criteria did you put in please since Ancestry updated you can no longer put in the reference
Have you found either in 1841, just thought it might help to find them earlier with the correct parents .

Hello you two,
Patrish, the spelling of the surname in 1851 is Mitchel, not Mitchell !!

Although the 1851 census states Elizabeth's age as 47, in 1861 she is only 53, therefore giving her an approximate birth year of 1808 !!

This is a good possibility given the similarities .
From 1936 Newby came under Cleveland reg dist.
On the IGI (extracted record) there is an Elizabeth Bainbridge ch. 3.4.1804 in Seamer by Stokesley, Yorks. father William.... mother Mary.
Seamer was also in Cleveland reg dist and on the map Newby and Seamer are very close together.
Also recorded are
Jane ch. 19.1.1800 Thomas ch. 17.4.1806 Robert ch. 3.4. 1808 Sarah ch. 3.4. 1808
I also note that Joseph and Elizabeth had children, Elizabeth, Jane, Sarah and Robert.

Hi Judith,
I have the Newby Bainbridges in my tree. I think Elizabeth was the 5th of 10 children to William Bainbridge and Mary Bulmer. She was baptised on 29th July 1804 in the Parish church of Seamer near Stokesley ( there's another Seamer near Whitby).
The records are held at the CRO at Northallerton.

You are welcome Judith,
Sorry I can't help with the marriage entry.
William & Mary were married on 18th Dec 1792 (Seamer), and children were- William 1793 Henry 1797 Jane 1800 Mary 1802 Elizabeth 1804 Thomas 1806 Robert 1808 Sarah 1808 - 1808 Sarah 1810 James 1812
I don't know if there's a connection but I notice you have an interest in Jobling. Mary 1802 had a son John in 1824 and must have married after this to George Jobling who was born at West Rounton, Yorkshire, c1807.
