James Lawrence of Sandend

James Lawrence. b Jun 1859, d. 2 July 1911 in Sandend was married to Margaret Ann Addison.  I know of one son only, John George Lawrence, born in Sandend(?) in the late 1890s.  Is there anyone researching this family?

Is this the family in the 1901 census? Everyone showing as born in Fordynce apart from Maggie:

Hi I am also researching the lawrence family at sandend.
My g g granny helen lawrence was born in sandend in 1822 to james lawrence and ann sim.
She married robert forbes and died between 1851 and 1855.
Do you think they could be related to your lawrences?

James Lawrence (b 1799) married to Ann Sim is brother to John Lawrence (b 1804) married to Elspet Sutherland.  They are sons of James Lawrence (b 1779) and Helen Davidson.  They had a sister Margaret b 1798, d 1860 Sandend; Mgt married (1) George Wood in 1819; (2) Alexander McCurrach in 1828.  They also a had a sister Mary b 1802.  James (b 1779) died 1865 at #3 Sandend.

I have census for James Lawrence and Ann Sim and family if anyone is interested....(or for that matter, anyone in Sandend)    Lynne

I just found a death record for one of your Lawrences while searching for one of my Smiths.
Sidney Lawrence died 1 Sept 1900 @ Sandend, age 1 year, son of James Lawrence and Marg. Ann Addison.  cod:  diarrhea 14 days

Thanks for all your info.
I am also reseaching smiths, I was wondering if you have my g granda in your tree? his name is william born in gibraltar to robert smith and a mary stewart, I have bill's info ( well some of it) but i can't find his mum & dad any where, can you help? thanks Dottie.

P.S forgot to say that yes i have robert forbes's 3 marriages (he was a busy boy lol)
