Ordering a cert from Manchester records

Has anyone ordered a cert from Heron House with just the FreeBMD reference?

I have emailed and telephone to see if a further refernce is required but nobody has got back to me.

I have order one using the reference form from LancashireBMD, but that is more specific. Don't really want to send off a cheque and wait for nothing to arrive.

Hi

usually local register offices do not go by the same references that other sites use.  Usually they have their own unique way of referencing BMD's

You can order online via e-mail to Heron House see the website below must general offices just require names and a rough year to search in I know mine does in Dewsbury.

I tried this way last week and so far have not had a reply other than an automatic email response, maybe they are really busy and I am being impatient!! But I have emailed other offices and had replies within two days at the most.

I've emailed them again, maybe they'll answer me just to get rid of me!!!
