Have searched every possible record, but can't find a marriage date for William Norris and Mary Ann Michell. Bride born Gwennap gives age in 1861 37yrs. First child born 1855 Lostwithiel. I have all records to 1891, but can't get back beyond 1861.
Would like to know family of bride and groom.
Can anyone help? Thanks.

findmypast has some Gwennap transcriptions, it's a pay to view but it looks like Mary Ann's baptism might be on there.

Thanks Shirl, I'll give Gwennap Findmypast a try, but still hoping to find a marriage ref. I have a record of Weslyan baptism for their children in Probus, but nowhere can I find a marriage!

Hi Trish, I had considered a previous marriage, but I think I have Mary Ann Michell in 1851 age 24 living with her brother in law William Brown and her sister. Checked out a Brown marriage on IGI and it gives bride as Elizabeth Michell. That all tied in, but I maybe I'm following the wrong route, although they are all born in Gwennap.
Fours years after 1851 census her first child born. That would make her 28 and 34 in 1861. The 1861 census record is wrong plus 1871 records age 44,81 is 56, 91 is 66. Death in 1900 gives 70yrs as her age!! She is a mystery. Perhaps they didn't marry. Still hoping to find a marriage certificate though. Thanks
