Did anyone out there ever see him taking his Lion for a walk around Chester Le Street? I have a book My Wild Friends plus a couple of photos that were signed to my late Ma in Law.

Often, he was a well known character in and around Chester-le-Street and it was not uncommon for to bump into him along Picktree Lane with Elsa his lioness on the lead
