David Gurnett Morgan of Newtown
« on: Saturday 17 October 09 18:51 UTC (UK) »

I have only very recent "found"  David Gurnett Morgan to add in to my family tree and just a little while ago discovered that he died in Newtown, Montgomeryshire in 2005 at the age of 98.  I have not yet received a copy of his death certificate  so have no up to date information but I do know that he was born in London  and became a professional organist who can be found  on a number of sailing lists travelling between the USA, Canada and the UK; he also married a Canadian lady in 1931.  I have no idea how or why he came to be living in Wales but am posting on this list for the first time in case he or any of his family are at all known to any other listers.

There are a couple of pages to do with David Morgan an organist. One is a poem about a cinema organist. Just Google David Moran Organist.
