robert hine 1820's kendal

hi i am looking for any infomation on my g+5grandfather Robert hine from kendal. he was killed by a cannonball and is buried in the kendal church graveyard .his family married into the brocklebank and wharton family . i would like to know his relationship with the golding family . did his daughter mary marry into this family . thanks .

just so i know what to look for is it mary jane hine aged 4 on the 1861 census of kendal that you think might have married into the golding family

i think you will find that mary jane married a william bell in 1881
they are on the 1891 census

william bell age 38. b. lancashire. occ(looks like)tobacco thinner. head
mary.j. bell age 33. b. westmorland. wife
george age 8. b. kendal. son
henry age 6. b. ditto. son
elizabeth age 3. b. ditto. daughter(twin)
ann age 3. b. ditto. daughter(twin)
james age 1. b. ditto. son.
elizabeth hine age 70. b. ditto. mother in law(mar) living on own means.
living at; kendal,westmorland

there is a death in 1907 of a mary jane bell in kendal she was aged 50 think this could be your mary jane hine if it is then she only married the once and obviously did not marry into the golding family
possibly one of her siblings did

hi i am just going from memory i am afraid .. in 1821 ish robert hine was killed by a cannon ball. in his will a witness is ? Golding . i believe that the daughter of Robert hine married into that Golding family .
i will get onto my cousin who started this research and see how the line works ... hopefully be back to you tomorrow .
